• Higher mutation rates in deeper/dangerous biomes
• Abyssal, Angelic, Shadow are extremely rare (estimated <0.5%)
• Golden, Neon, Fairy are relatively common (~5-10%)
• Silver/Glossy are the most common (~15-20%)

Final Value = Base Fish Value × Mutation Multiplier

Example 1:

Blue Tang ($14) with Abyssal (8.5x) = $119

Example 2:

Whale ($10,000) with Angelic (7.77x) = $77,700!

1. Focus on high-value fish: Whale, Bigmouthfish, Ancient Shark
2. Farm in deeper biomes: Spirit Roots and Ancient Sands have better mutation rates
3. Use Divine Hour Glass artifact: Increases mutation chance
4. Fish in groups: More attempts = more mutation spawns
5. Don't ignore low mutations: Even 1.6x on a Whale is $16,000!

• Fish can only have ONE mutation - no stacking
• Mutations are visible - fish will glow or have special effects
• All fish can mutate - even Common rarity fish
• Weight doesn't affect mutations - 100kg fish has same chance as 10kg
• No mutation-specific locations - all can spawn anywhere
